Dick Sabot to Address Leadership Forum
We are pleased to announce that Dick Sabot will be
addressing the Leadership Forum. Sabot is the co-founder and
Chairman of the Board of Eziba, a socially responsible retailer of
hand crafted products created by artisans in more than 70 countries.
Sabot served on the research staff of the World Bank for ten years
and was also Senior Economic Advisor to the Inter-American
Development Bank. Catch Dick Sabot during the Development
Marketplace Plenary Session or at the Seminar on Arts and Rural
Economic Development.

Dr. Graham Smith to Address Monday Lunch Crowd
Monday’s lunch address will feature Dr. Graham Hingangaroa
Smith, speaking on Creating the Indigenous Education Revolution:
Building the Foundations of the Knowledge Society and Knowledge
Economy. Dr. Smith has worked extensively with Indigenous/ First
Nation’s peoples across the world, including his own Maori people in
New Zealand, Canada, Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, Taiwan, Chile,
Australia and the Pacific nations.
Film Screening: Still, The Children Are Here
The Leadership Forum will include a special screening
of the 2003 film, Still, The Children Are Here on Tuesday,
June 29th at 8pm. This intimate, slice-of-life portrait not only
describes an indigenous people and their culture or cultivation, but
also speaks of the essential nature of man. To learn more about the
